This listing is for a hard-to-find clear glass tree toothpick holder. This is one of the earliest patterns made by the Paden City Glass Company which opened in 1916. Paden City was known more for depression glass and elegant glass, so this pattern would fall in the late EAPG Era. It is a petite toothpick with a scalloped rim, arched panels and pointed rows of ladders creating the "tree" between the arched panels. The base is footed with an incised flower underneath. Measurements are 2 1/2" h and 2" w across the rim. This is a desirable toothpick for any collector due to its scarcity. No chips or cracks on this piece.
