This listing is for a petite, clear glass Stars & Stripes toothpick holder. This pattern was introduced in 1902 by the Kokomo Glass Company. The pattern is also known as Zipper & Diamonds. The rim and the base have both have nine scallops. There are nine columns with an X pattern and nine plain columns. The base is recessed and has no design. The glass is very clear. Measurements are 2 3/8" h and 1 1/4" w. There is minor rim roughness which does not affect the overall appearance. This toothpick holder was later made by Federal Glass ( named Climax ).
This product would be a great fit for a home where people regularly enjoy tasty treats, especially if you have toddlers or animals that might be at risk of choking on regular toothpicks.
