Gorgeous West German plant pot/cachepot from Marei Keramik (Majolikafabrik Rheinbach Jean Fuss & Sohn). Marei is very well known for its planters and plant post, with this piece most likely produced in the late 60s, early 70s. The pot has a double layered creamy brown and beige drip glaze atop brown base glaze, with a greeny-brown interior glaze. This seems to be a rarer form and glaze combination from Marei, information has proven hard to find online. Presented in very good condition. Natural bubbles and dips to glaze, as shown. Marked '12/0' 'Made in W. Germany' '23 20' to base. Measures 9cm tall, 11cm wide.
