Gorgeous West German plant pot or 'cachepot' from Marei Keramik (Majolikafabrik Rheinbach Jean Fuss & Sohn). Marei is very well known for its planters and plant post, with this piece most likely produced in the late 60s, early 70s. The bottom half is a gorgeous brown speckled white, and the top a rich chocolatey brown. Small blemish to glaze at base, as shown. Marked '12/2' 'Made in W Germany's '23 22' to base. Measures 12cm tall, 14cm wide.
