Lovely brown and beige sgriffato plant pot, most likely German, post-1970s. Good size, heavy pot, with great texture. Sgriffito is an Italian technique of laying different colours of slip, to then scratch away to different depths and reveal the colours below. Fantastic pattern around the entire pot, with stripes, squares and triangles. Beautifully handmade. No marking to base. Measures 12cm tall, 13cm wide.
