An early ROYAL DOULTON Figurine HN 2065 called 'Blythe Morning' modelled by Leslie Harradine (1887-1965) and produced from 1950 until 1973 when it was retired. The copyright is shown as 1948. Leslie joined Royal Doulton in 1902 and, after a few years in Canada he returned to the UK and worked on a freelance basis living in Sark (Channel Islands) and Spain dying in Gibralter in 1965. In all he produced figurines for 40 years. Blythe Morning shows a young girl in a red outfit holding her grey hat by her side with her scarf draped around her back.
