A very early design copyrighted in 1932 this is a ROYAL DOULTON Figurine HN 1537 called 'Janet' which was modelled by Leslie Harradine. He was one of the leading sculptors in the early 20th century. So successful was this design that it continue Ito be part of the range until 1995. It shows a lady in period dress carrying a basket of yellow roses. It stands 6 1/4 inches tall (15.9cm).
