RARE ANTIQUE CROWN DUCAL ART DECO 'COUNTRYSIDE' VASE - HAND-PAINTED The design shape of this vase is 281 and the vase has been hand-painted with gilding on the handles. The background is cream and the tree, house and hills are in relief; the exterior is in very good condition without any chips, cracks etc. The inside (which cannot be seen) has some staining from its use as a vase. The pair of handles are gilded - there is some very slight wear to the gilding. The base has the impressed mould mark 281 and the Crown Ducal, Made in England stamp. The vase measures approx. 16cms in height and 20cms in width. See pics.
