Erosion Riven Vessel made from stoneware and inspired by the geology of the Isle of Skye where Patricia lives and works. This vessel has a gloss internal, dark glaze, and the outside is heavily textured with natural lines and fissures to reflect the rugged volcanic geology typical of the Isle of Skye. The rim is also uneven/naturalistic in form, creating an interesting edge. It has been sagger fired and is ovoid in form, with an upper part that is a light taupe/grey colour, grading to a darker lower part. Purchased direct from the artist
