This is an attractive vintage stoneware decorative bell. It was made by Patricia Chiles in Oxfordshire and has her seal mark impressed alongside the handle. The bell has a twisted loop handle and a stoneware clapper on cord on the inside. It has a brown speckled finish with partial drip glaze poured from the top, and unglazed interior. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Being stoneware, the bell has a rather dull ring. Measures approx 3.5" high to the top of the handle, and 3" in diameter at the base.
