Murano Mid Century Glass Fish 10" or 25.5cm, with original genuine, generic Murano label. This label identifies the item as having been made on the island of Murano but does not indicate the designer or glass furnace. Similar high quality fish or marlin were made for the American 'Jordan's Importing Company' or JICO in the 1960s-'70s. The design and style using the sommerso technique, as well as this particular base, are characteristic of JICO fish; while each piece is uniquely hand made. It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
