This face jug was bought at an estate sale in Vale NC and the estate sale manager did not know anything about the potter, though she knew it had been “made in the area by someone who has passed away”. There is a maker’s mark on this jug that might be the initials TB or JB, with a date that seems to indicate’79. (Please look at photos to see if you can tell.) This jug, regardless of artist, is a very good piece.
