I have had the privilege of purchasing several pieces of pottery directly from renowned potter, Walter P. Fleming. Walter Fleming was born in 1937 and began potting in 1986. He studied under Burton “B. B.” Craig, the well-known Catawba Valley potter who shared with Walter the traditional Catawba Valley techniques of forms and glazes that is realized in this jug.
