Fabulous early 19th century early English porcelain twin-handled plate, probably made about 1820. The style is very much Swansea, but it is not marked and I believe it to be Coalport who used the same decorators. Swansea porcelains were difficult to produce which is why the factory was so short lived. When the factory closed down, a lot of blanks were acquired by other factories and finished off by them. Still a very beautifully crafted item and quite rare. In excellent condition.
