Yu Nishioka (b.1977, Chiba) is a contemporary Mino potter known for his refined Ki-Seto and Oribe works. Trained in Aichi and once an apprentice to Suzuki Goro, he now works independently in Ena, Gifu, where he mines local clay and fires in a traditional wood-burning kiln.
