This is a charming jug manufactured by the Widdecombe Pottery called ‘Off to Widdecombe Fair’. It depicts the 7 characters from the well-known ditty riding to the fair on the said Grey Mare. On the other side of the jug are the words of the ditty. The jug is free of chips and cracks. There is some tarnishing and crackleur of the surface. A really interesting and delightful item that will add to a collection. Please see photographs.
