For sale is a paperweight, manufactured at Whitefriars. The design features a central picture cane, depicting an owl, framed with 4 concentric rings of coloured star canes. Set within one of these rings is the signature "Monk" date cane for 1976. There is a band of five oval facets running around the sides. The paperweight measures approximately a little under 3 1/8"(a little over 7.75cms) in diameter There are a couple of chips to the windows as can be seen in the photographs, still a lovely little weight these chips can only be seen on close inspection.We have been collecting glass for many years, it is now time for us to sell our private glass collection, We now have a beautiful baby girl and can no longer display our beautiful glass pieces
