West German Ceramic Fruit Bowl, Unusual Design (Read). Glazed ceramic fruit bowl, with a blackened area as part of the design with a rough texture ( I think this is refererred to as a "volcanic" design) , it's certainly an unusual mix of rough and smooth textures. There's a chip on the rim (see pic) but otherwise it's great condition. The texture feature of this item makes it rarer and more collectable. West German pottery at its finest
