A classic egg shaped paperweight with burgundy pillows of speckled glass, separated by controlled bubble collars. A very unusual style, and shows off the designer's skills excellently. Sand blasted Wedgwood England on base. Ronald Stennett Willson was one of the leading glass designers of his time and founded King's Lynn Glass in 1967, which was later acquired by Wedgwood. He continued to design until his retirement in 1979. Condition: No obvious damage around globe. Base has wear consistent with light use, and a couple very minor scratches it's inevitably picked up over 50 years or so
