Offered for sale is a beautiful original Wardle Art Nouveau scenic bowl / jardinière dating to circa 1905–1910. This piece was produced during the Frederick Rhead design era and features a classic Edwardian landscape scene with stylised trees, flowing lines and rich blue and ochre tones against a soft celadon green glaze interior. The base is clearly marked: Wardle Pattern No. 752304 Made in England The scalloped rim and tri-footed base are characteristic of early 20th century Wardle production.
