This authentic piece of New England studio pottery is a beautiful example of the "yellow ware" style popularized by Sampson Pottery in the early 1990s. This chamberstick features a warm, mustard-yellow glaze accented by two hand-painted cobalt blue stripes around the neck. The base is clearly stamped with "SAMPSON 1992 WESTMINSTER MASS." It features a classic finger-loop handle, making it a perfect addition to a bedside table, mantel, or primitive-style gallery wall. Condition Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The underside shows the natural unglazed stoneware bottom with the original maker's stamps as shown in photos. (Note: Any slight glaze variations are characteristic of handmade studio pottery.) Fits a standard taper candle.
