A fine mid-century style studio ceramic vessel featuring an altered, square-faceted body crafted from a buff stoneware clay. The exterior is decorated with abstract, fluid iron-brown oxide brushwork under a semi-matte cream glaze, contrasted by a soft celadon-green ash glaze accentuating the rim. The unglazed, textured bottom features an incised "VH" maker's mark. No chips, breaks or cracks. It’s hard to see but the top is a light green. The one where I am holding shows a good color.
