Vintage Iittala Arktia Candle Holder / Candlestick, a collectible piece of handmade handblown art glass designed by Timo Sarpaneva, 5.5” tall. Made in Finland. This Scandinavian Nordic design originated from the Arkipelago series, but the addition of the blue-toned part in 1985 led to the Arktia designation, symbolizing water under ice. It was produced till 1997. A real beauty in clear and blue! It is in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks, just some scratches on the bottom - see pics. Comes from a smoking-free pet-free home.
