Pre-owned beautiful, authentic mid-century modern hand-blown art glass vase made by Blenko Glass Company. Model #706, designed by the iconic Joel Philip Myers during his tenure as design director (late 1960s to early 1970s). Stunning "Tangerine" finish featuring a fiery ombre gradient that transitions from a rich ruby red at the rim down to a vibrant amber-yellow base. Stands approximately 6.5 inches tall. Features the classic, rough unpolished pontil scar on the base, characteristic of vintage no chips, cracks, or flea bites along the rim. The glass is clear and beautiful. (As with all hand-blown glass, minor factory air bubbles may be present within the glass).
