This is such a cheery tile/trivet by Alan Wallwork. I date it to the ‘60s or ‘70s featuring a bold flower design. The condition is very good for its age. There is crazing and minor chipping in a few places along the edge. The cork has separated a bit on the back. All adds to its charm! The colors of the flower are lovely—brown petals along the edge, moving inward to amber/caramel, then pale yellow, and finally, to avocado green/forest green at the center. There is a faint printed mark that reads: “Alan Wallwork Ceramics Made in England”.
