Vintage WWI era porcelain dish marked Sévres Enemy Ears Great War. Unique piece that could date to the First World War. The slogan surrounding the birds roughly translates to “Shut up! Beware! Enemy ears are listening to you,” which was a saying used at that time. Bottom marked CL Sévres, but I’m doubtful that this is a true piece of Sévres. Good condition. Light wear. Some small white paint splatters. Light paint wear. Light wear to bottom. Please refer to photos for additional condition details. 4 1/4” x 3” approximately.
