This figurine was purchased by my mother 1973/1974 when she was managing the gift shop at a place then known as Tolgus Tin mine in Cornwall (now Cornwall Gold Centre). He has been on display ever since and is only now offered for sale because I’m having to clear her house as she’s gone into a care home. He stands about 27cm tall including the base and has a lovely glossy finish even now. There is very slight crazing on his shirt but nowhere else. There are no chips or cracks. Even the candle stump in his helmet is intact. I haven’t been able to find another one the same in my searches, so he’s very special. I would keep him as he feels like part of the family but he doesn’t really match anything else I have. From a smoke free home.
