Vintage glazed ceramic plate, from Andalucian Spain, featuring a blue & green floral geometric hand-painted design, with a central rosette pattern known as 'flower of life', a perimeter featuring radiating diagonal brush-strokes, and geometric designs in-between. The design echoes Spanish folk Mudejar patterns, blending Islamic Moorish & Christian influences. The reverse is plain white. In reasonable condition for age, likely 20thC, with some bleeding of blue on to the reverse side - very common for this kind of pottery. 23cm diameter, 2.5cm high.
