Vintage mid-century Scandinavian art glass vase designed by Asta Strömberg for Strömbergshyttan, Sweden. Heavy, thick-walled crystal casting featuring their signature ice-blue / silver-tinted hue. Masterfully copper-wheel engraved on the front face with a highly detailed Viking longboat / sailing ship. Features its original foil manufacturer label on the lower front base rim. The underside of the base is hand-etched with the "Strömbergshyttan" signature alongside model/production codes B894 / C1307. Height: 17 cm Condition Note: Solid vintage condition with excellent clarity and weight. There is a visible surface scratch on one side of the glass body as pictured also on base where it’s been moved. No structural cracks, chips, or bruising to the heavy crystal base or rim.
