This is a stunning Royal Worcester hand painted plate with the subject being a little bird which I think is a Tanager and signed Arthur Badham c1950s It measures approx. 8.75" in diameter It is in excellent condition - there is the tiniest mark on the back (see photo) which is even barely visible anyway - no chips or nibbles - no cracks or repairs - the gold gilt not rubbed or faded - a small patch of light surface scratch marks not on the painting only a small area towards the top edge which is why it was marked as a second I think - the painting is really gorgeous and vivid bright colours and clearly signed - it has been in careful storage for years From a smoke free home - has been in storage for years away from heat and light
