This vintage ceramic jug was produced in Romania by Faianta Sighisoara, dating to the 1960s or 1970s. It stands 12cm tall with an 8cm rim diameter. The transfer-print design features a multicoloured folk motif of an accordion, a traditional hat, and wine bottles against a cream background. The style fits Retro, Kitsch, and Mid-Century bohemian kitchen decor. The base features an impressed factory stamp. The exterior glaze is intact without chips or cracks, but the interior shows distinct tea/coffee staining and age-related discolouration. Please see all photos.
This product would be a great fit for those seeking an elegant, unique, and stylish decoration for their home that also adds a touch of color and nostalgia.
