This vintage dinner plate features "James Edward Oglethorpe" the british general and philanthropist who founded the Colony of Georgia in 1733. Made by the renowned brand Wedgwood in England, is a beautiful decorative piece for any collector. This specific series of plates was commissioned by the Transylvania Club of Sandersville, Georgia, in the early 1930s Diameter 27cm.Overall in good condition, except there is a a chip on the outside on the north western side of the plate. It is more visible from the back, although you can see about 2mm of the chip from the front rim (see photo) Any questions feel free to ask
