It's composed of two distinct parts (the base and its stopper) with each having been built skillfully from their own blown glass components. The well's neck is tooled out at the mouth, and the neck's interior is ground to fit a matching solid stopper (a cut-faceted concentric millefiori paperweight raised on a ground of Marina Blue glass atop a colorless tooled plug).
