Unusual vintage studio pottery dish measuring approximately 20 × 17 cm. Decorated in an Oribe-style design with deep green glaze, carved concentric line decoration and textured honeycomb border. The reverse retains its original retailer's label reading "Importato da Venezia" ("Imported via Venice"), indicating it was retailed by a Venetian importer. The exact maker is unknown. The design is strongly reminiscent of Japanese Mino/Oribe pottery, although I cannot confirm whether it was made in Japan or produced elsewhere in the Japanese style. m A very decorative mid-century / 1970s–1980s piece.
