The pattern of this sandstone wall plaque is the work of ceramist Noomi Backhausen (1838-2011), for Søholm Stentøj, a factory located on the island of Bornholm in Denmark. In addition to the series that she designed for this factory, in which she worked from 1966 to 1990, we also owe her a large number of stoneware plaques, like this one, where we recognize her colorful, lively touch.
