Stunning Italian mid 20th century geode glass bowl / dish c.1950. Made on the small island of Murano near Venice. Layered deep blue and red colours, a result of using the renowned Sommerso technique. These geode bowls were made by several manufacturers on the island including Archimede Seguso and Cenedese. A fantastic piece of glass for the collector.
