This is a Mid Century (likely 1950s) SylvaC ceramic Bon Bon dish in their apple blossom range. Leaning heavily into majolica, the dish features a stylised twig handle and flower shaped bowl. It is without any chips, cracks or repairs but does suffer from crazing. It has a simple back stamp of ‘SylvaC England” but no impressed number. This dish is 5” or 5 1/2” so I think it is model 1933, which is the same as 1934 but a bit smaller. It is listed in my SylvaC book as: 1933 Dish - For sweets with handle. Flower shaped Hand painted 5 1/2” diameter. A super item, difficult to find without a repaired or damaged handle.
The Vintage Mid Century SylvaC Ceramic Bon Bon Dish Apple Blossom Range #1933 is a stylish and elegant addition to any dining room, making it an excellent choice for those looking to update their vintage decor or furnish their modern farmhouse-style kitchen.
