Vintage Mid-Century Modern Metalware Candle Stand/Holder. The piece is signed "Sascha B" C 23 P. Sascha Brastoff was a designer of ceramics, pottery and metalware. He was active in the Los Angeles area from 1947 to 1963. Sascha Brastoff was very successful and had his own studio in West Los Angeles, California. In the late 1950's he employed more than 100 pottery workers. Sascha Brastoff took on Marc Bellaire as his protege in his early career and he worked at Brastoff's factory.
