An outstanding vintage German Helmut Schaffenacker hanging wall tile in the shape of a sail showing two sailing boats-one with a figure-with a fantastic manta ray underneath, the tile in very colorful glossy blues with red, white and yellow highlights-fantastic! The tile is signed in the glaze at the base, the reverse is stamped 'Schaffenacker' and has an attached hanging wire. The tile measures approximately 16 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches and is about 3/4 inches thick. The tile is in great, undamaged condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and light general wear.
