I imagine this to be one of the Mc Coy’s seconds. The vase has no chips or cracks and is in perfect condition. From the photos you will see areas where the drip glazed missed. Or in the case of the bird, it dripped. The piece is heavy. The maroon bird has black accents on its wings and tail.
