This is a beautiful vintage stoneware lidded and footed trinket bowl. It was made by Laurie Short at Crag Hall Pottery in Millom, Cumbria and has his impressed mark on the outside if the foot. The round bowl has a domed lift-off lid which is decorated with a hand painted wax resist abstract pattern wirh tenmoku glaze. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approx 3" high and 4.6" in diameter.
