Decorative hand painted plate by Henriot Quimper featuring a traditional Breton figure in regional costume. The plate is tin-glazed earthenware Circa 1922-1942 The specific handwritten style of the 'HB' interlocking letters combined with the two distinctive dots placed directly underneath the word "Quimper" is a known chronological mark variant used by the Hubaudiere-Bousquet factory during the interwar period leading up to WWII In very good condition, the glaze is NOT crackled and there are no chips. There are 3 little lumps on the back and the glaze on the back is slightly yellowed. 25cm in diameter
