Vintage hand-painted Emerson Creek glazed terra cotta pot. This round pot has thick sides, with a white base glaze and unglazed terra cotta rim and bottom. The hand-painted flowers are yellow, pink, and blue and comprise a floral spray. A label on the side indicates it is hand-painted in the USA, lead-free, and by Emerson Creek Pottery. Their name also is stamped on the bottom, along with the date it was made, 1999, and location, Bedford, VA. Condition is very good; there are very minor scratches consistent with age, otherwise no apparent damage -- see pictures. Dimensions: 5.75" diameter x 5-1/8" tall. 26.5 oz
