Vintage Murano hand-blown art glass swan figurine, a highly collectible piece of Italian decor typically produced on the island of Murano, Venice during the 1960s to 1970’s. The figurine features a gradient color style where deep amethyst/purple glass transitions into clear glass at the base. This is a variation of the classic Sommerso or cased glass method. In very good, undamaged condition. It has a slightly rough pontil mark, which shows it was hand-blown off a rod rather than made in a factory mould. Will be very protectively wrapped and boxed for safe shipping.
