Description: Vintage stoneware hot water bottle / foot warmer, made in England. Classic flat, oval shape designed to sit comfortably under blankets or at your feet. Finished in a neutral beige glaze with a lovely speckled look. Stamped “Made in England” on the base, dating it to approximately the 1920s–1940s. Fitted with what appears to be the original Bakelite or hard rubber stopper, which is quite heavy and in keeping with the age of the piece. A great decorative item or collectible, and still usable (though care should be taken due to age). Nice decorative piece , great doorstop ?
