A pair of striking vintage, hand-painted ceramic elephant figurines characterised by their rich brown glaze, multi-colored saddle/howdah, and a decorative base featuring a Greek key design. Originally used as ash trays they would make interesting book ends or candle holders. There are a couple of small chips on the bases (see photos) but in good condition otherwise. Height 16 cm, length 14 cm, width 7 cm.
