This is a lovely vintage studio pottery stoneware tile, set into a wooden frame to form a trivet or pot stand. The tile was made by Colin Kellam in Devon. There used to be his gold paper label on the underside but this has been lost over time. It is hand painted in blue, green and grey with a flag iris design. In good sound condition with no chips or cracks and no splits to the wood. The frame has some signs of wear but could be renovated. The tile measures approx 5.75" square and the trivet 7.5" square.
