These are two beautiful vintage white bone china figurines of countryside animals. One is a fox, winking, or perhaps sleeping with one eye open and the other is a squirrel. They were made in the 1970s by Coalport and each has a printed backstamp on the base. The facial features are hand painted in golden brown on the pure white ground In very good condition with no chips or cracks. The squirrel has a tiny fleck of brown paint on the edge of the base but this is a production anomaly. The squirrel measures approx 2.75" x 2.1" x 1.7". The fox measures approx 1.6" x 3.1" x 2".
