Pretty stoneware pottery two piece bowl. This reminds me of a French butter dish and could be used that way putting ice water in the bottom part and butter in the middle for a big family meal. But there wouldn’t be a top for longer storage this way. It could also be a warmer of some kind or just a nesting bowl thing. Measures 5.5” round 4” tall. Looks like it is in new condition. Vintage but never used.
