A pretty hand painted bowl, c.1950s in date and stamped 'Axe Vale Pottery, Devon England, Hand Painted' on the base with the artist's initials 'E.S.'. With a white satin glaze and hand painted blue rose design, glazed pale pink inside- very '50s!. There is some crackling to the glaze inside and out- this is pretty typical. Approx. 12.5cm wide and 4.5cm deep with a rounded edge. Ideal for trinkets, potpourri etc. Please see all photos.
